It's the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.

I recently shared another photographer's blog post on my facebook page because I thought her message was amazing. Being the family photographer, I find myself in very few photos. Sometimes I like to hide behind the camera ... bad hair day, didn't put on makeup - there's always some excuse! But it's amazing to me that weeks go by and we have attended parties and other events, and I never once took a photo of myself. To change this, I have begun handing the point & shoot camera to my husband when we are out and about. He is able to take some amazing images, even if there are a few of my backside! I also have a remote trigger on my list of photography equipment to purchase. Putting the camera on a tripod and including myself in some of our family activities sounds like a great idea. How do you capture yourself in your family photos?
